“Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.” Napoleon Hill

• When you put things off, you are putting yourself into a time debt.

• Inaction destroys opportunities and kills dreams

• Procrastination sets you under pressure.

• Putting things off makes easy tasks seem very hard.

• Abandoned or unfinished tasks deflate your self-confidence and punctures your self-esteem.

• Unfulfilled promises can damage your reputation.

• Habitual procrastination always bring you to a sorrowful and regretful end.

“Today, stop making excuses for why you can’t get it done and start focusing on all the reasons why you must make it happen.”

POSITIVE SIDE OF FAILURE

Life is full of ups and downs. It’s not how many times we fail or fall that matters, it’s our ability to rise and recover each time we fail.

Your ability to rise lies hugely on your understanding of failure and your ability to handle failure.

“Your attitude towards failure determines your altitude after failure”

1. Failure is not a dead end or destination, it’s a temporary detour or event

2. Failure is not an enemy, rather an experience.

3. Failure is not an opposite of success, it’s part of success.

4. Failure is not final, it’s an opportunity to start again.

5. Failure is not a proof of your incompetence, rather an evidence you are making progress

6. Failure is not a loss, it’s a gain because you learned to grow.

7. Failure is not an undertaker, it’s a teacher.

In as much as failure is not something to be proud of, it is not anything to be ashamed of...

“Don’t let your failure defeat you, rather let it inspire you”

SELF CONFIDENCE

Taking control of your life cannot be complete without taking control of your self-confidence. It is one of the greatest virtues of successful people.

Self-confidence is a mindset that takes effort to maintain when the going gets rough. It must be learned, practiced and mastered just like any other skill.

Self-confidence is extremely important in every aspect of our lives, yet so many people struggle with it. Sadly, this can be a vicious circle: people who lack self-confidence can find it difficult to become successful. I discovered that, one of the strongholds that holds you back from pursuing your dreams is fear of failure. To overcome that fear, you need self-confidence. You need to be confident in yourself that you are better than the moment. Self-confidence is not genetic, I believe it is a skill that must be learned, practiced and mastered.

There so many tools to building your self-confidence but I will share just three of them that I believe are the most effective.

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Being successful is about having the proper belief system of who you are. If you truly believe inside of you that you are the best, you will eventually become the best. Believe in yourself or no one will.

Everyone was created with gifts and talents embedded in them. Absolutely no one was made to be a liability rather an asset to their generation. If your self-discovery exercise was thorough, then you should have discovered some sort of uniqueness about you. There is always this trait, this gift that sets you apart. If you are unsure of who you are, your goals may never be a reality. Learn to focus on your discovered strengths not weaknesses, your high moments not low moments.

Self-doubt is a gateway to low self-esteem. Of course low self-esteem is the reason for lack of self-confidence. Stop doubting yourself, it cripples your dreams. Stop speaking negatively to yourself, it eventually sends negative feedback to your mind. Stop using statements like “I can’t, I’m unable.” Start using these, “How can I?” Yes, I can! Of course you can.

The problem is that you have not tried enough. Are you willing to give it another push, another shot. Stop doubting yourself today and start building your self-confidence… Please share to bless others!

THINK AND ACT POSITIVELY

Everyone has a mental doubt about his life, internal conflicts. even the most successful people you know, but they do not settle there. They learn to overwhelm these doubts with positive thoughts and actions and that results to absolute confidence in yourself that you are better than the moment.

According to Napoleon Hill, ‘the dominating thoughts of your mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward physical actions and gradually transform themselves into physical reality.”

Positive energy leads to positive outcomes, so set your mind to the positive side of any situation, being aware and avoiding the negative self-talk that can make you feel less confident. Surround yourself with happy and successful people that will produce that positive energy you need to pursue and achieve your dreams.

Be positive, even if you're not feeling it yet. Put some positive enthusiasm and passion into everything you do, Stop focusing on the problems in your life and instead begin to focus on solutions and making positive changes.

GET PREPARED

A man once said, “Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.” How prepared you are in life plays a major role on how successful you will end up. It’s hard to be confident in yourself if you don’t think you’ll do well at something. You can beat that feeling by preparing yourself as much as possible. Think about taking an exam: if you haven’t studied, you won’t have much confidence in your abilities to do well on the exam. But if you studied really hard, you’re prepared, and you’ll be much more confident. Now think of life as your exam, and prepare yourself. Your preparedness proves your readiness, your readiness triggers your enthusiasm and your enthusiasm guarantees your self-confidence. If you are adequately prepared, your self-confidence
